Current Projects

The provost provides leadership on planning and initiatives related to the academic mission of the University of Oregon. Working collaboratively with executive leadership, vice provosts, deans, and others, the provost's initiatives support the university's role as a preeminent public research university and support the creation of knowledge and discovery.

The Office of the Provost and the University Senate are currently working together to critique and revise all aspects of teaching evaluation. 
The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether salary inequities exist for tenured and tenure-track faculty that are related to gender, race, or ethnicity, and if so, to help chart a path to eliminate inequitable compensation.
The UO Leadership Academy is a leadership development program for administrative and academic leaders at the UO including OAs and faculty.
The Provost’s Teaching Academy brings together UO’s distinguished teachers—both award recipients and participants in UO’s premiere teaching development activities—into a leadership group.
