November 11, 2019 – Provost and Senior Vice President Patrick Phillips issues a reminder to faculty about students on active military duty, accommodating their participation in mandatory drills and exercises, and the Military Duty Refund Policy.

October 10, 2019 – Provost Patrick Phillips announces that Bruce Blonigen will serve as dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) through 2020-21 and Karen Ford will take on the new role of CAS dean for faculty.

October 7, 2019 – The former founding director of the Institute of Arts and Sciences at UC-Santa Cruz takes over as leader of UO’s Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art.
Academic Misconduct and Academic Extra Benefits involving faculty, student-athletes
October 3, 2019 – The University of Oregon’s Intercollegiate Athletic Advisory Committee issues a reminder to faculty about avoiding academic misconduct and academic extra benefits violations from the NCAA.
