February 6, 2023 - The Office of the Provost provides information for awards and opportunities, Inclusive Excellence in Action, and a DIY Guide to Protecting Academic Freedom.

The academic affairs team is hosting a series of high-priority events that are part of our efforts to create a culture of inclusive teaching at the UO, enhance our efforts at hiring and retaining a diverse faculty, and work toward more equitable student success.

January 31, 2023 - Interim President Patrick Phillips and Acting Provost Janet Woodruff-Borden announce Katie McLaughlin to lead The Ballmer Institute for Children’s Behavioral Health.

The Office of the Provost (OtP)

is responsible for carrying out the academic mission of the University of Oregon. In doing so, the office works closely with faculty and staff to enhance academic excellence, student success, and the UO’s overall academic profile.
