January 31, 2020 – Provost and Senior Vice President Patrick Phillips, Executive Director Deb Beck, and Dean and Vice Provost Dennis Galvan sent a message to the university community regarding the coronavirus outbreak.

January 28, 2020 – Provost Phillips and VPRI Conover issue a notice to faculty that the university has updated its policy on conflicts of interest, conflicts of commitment, and outside activities.

January 10, 2020 – The University of Oregon’s Intercollegiate Athletic Advisory Committee issues a reminder to faculty about avoiding academic misconduct and academic extra benefits violations from the NCAA.

October 31, 2019 – Janet Woodruff-Borden is selected as the next executive vice provost for academic affiars; and Kate Mondloch is appointed as interim dean and vice provost for the Graduate School.
