April 28, 2020 – Provost and Senior Vice President Patrick Phillips announces that the search for the Vice President for Research and Innovation has been suspended and appoints Cassandra Moseley as interim leader of the office.

Contingency planning for financial uncertainty

April 16, 2020 – Provost and Senior Vice President Patrick Phillips and Vice President Jamie Moffitt share a contingency plan to address financial uncertainty for the coming academic year with faculty and staff.

Summer classes to be taught remotely

Changes in grading options for undergraduate courses

March 27, 2020 –  In response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation, Executive Vice Provost for Academic Affairs Janet Woodruff-Borden announces changes in grading options for students taking undergraduate courses in the spring 2020 term.

Zoom and Canvas now integrated

March 26, 2020 – Associate Vice Provost for UO Online Carol Gering and Chief Information Officer Jessie Minton sent a notice to instructional faculty and GEs announcing the integration of Zoom and Canvas, allowing for a more seamless teaching and learning experience with the two applications.
