October 22, 2018 – UO Provost and Vice President of the Division of Equity and Inclusion respond to reports of the federal administration narrowing the definition of gender by reaffirming the university’s commitment to support students, faculty, and staff of all gender identities.

Task Force forming to analyze the structure of CAS

Ocotber 17, 2018 - UO Provost and President call for the formation of a diverse group to examine the structure of the College of Arts and Sciences. Senior Divisional Dean Karen Ford will serve as chair of the task force that will be made up of faculty, staff and students.

Academic Misconduct and Academic Extra Benefits involving faculty, student-athletes

October 8, 2018 – The University of Oregon’s Intercollegiate Athletic Advisory Committee issues a reminder to faculty about avoiding academic misconduct and academic extra benefits violations from the NCAA.
