SOJC Dean Position
The UO seeks a visionary, innovative, and engaged leader with a passionate commitment to fostering the vital role of journalism and media in a global society. Reporting to the provost and senior vice president, the Dean is the chief academic and administrative officer for the SOJC, which was founded in 1916 and is one of the oldest journalism programs in the nation and remains the only comprehensive accredited journalism and communication program in the Pacific Northwest.
