How the University Works Workshop Series

The University of Oregon is a large complex organization with thousands of employees working on different elements of the university’s mission. It can be very difficult to understand the nuance of any given aspect of the organization from outside its ranks. This lack of understanding can lead to frustration and confusion, especially during times of challenge.

This workshop series is designed to help faculty and staff break down silos, build connections, and gain a clearer picture of how UO operates. With shared understanding, we can collaborate more effectively and tackle challenges together.

Each session will explore key areas of the university, featuring insights from campus leaders and opportunities for discussion.

This series is a collaboration between the Office of the Provost and University Human Resources, and we encourage Faculty & Staff to join us in learning more about the University of Oregon and how it works. For information contact learning@uoregon.edu.
