Fall Academic Policy Reminders

This message is to remind you of a number of academic policies that may affect your course planning, grading, and exam schedules.

Promotion and/or tenure process for TTF and NTTF

To support preparation of digital dossiers, fillable PDF portfolios for TTF and NTTF dossiers are available for the 2017 promotion cycle. We have also created a PDF portfolio for the supplementary file; this file may be used for both TTF and NTTF cases. The digital files are available on the Academic Affairs website, along with details on the preparation of TTF and NTTF dossiers, general timelines, and a guidance document on how to construct the file using Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Fall Workshops

Last week we emailed you about an important new workshop series for unit heads. We hope you will take advantage of these workshops, and provide us with feedback as we work to develop meaningful training opportunities. In addition to workshops for unit heads, the Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs will be offering the following opportunities for faculty.

Tentative Agreement

This draft version reflects the tentative agreement and the various changes made through the course of bargaining. The document will not be final and in effect until United Academics membership has ratified the agreement and it has been signed by both parties.
