Inclusive Teaching at UO Launch Event

Come celebrate the inclusive teaching efforts at UO and the launch of new grant funded programing that will amplify the culture of inclusive teaching and learn about new opportunities for current and future involvement in this exciting effort.

Faculty Success: Inclusive Recruitment and Retention Summit

Wednesday, April 26 • 9:00am to 2:00pm
Ford Alumni Center, Giustina Ballroom

The goals of this event are to recognize the work being done at an institutional college and school level around inclusive hiring and retention efforts; and to identify challenges and strategies to advance institutional inclusive hiring and retention efforts.
This event is scheduled to replace the April All Unit Heads meeting.

Closing Student Achievement Equity Gaps

Tuesday, May 30 • 9:00am to 3:00pm
EMU, Redwood Auditorium

The goal of this event is to create strategies to address student achievement goals identified in your units Annual Program Assessment. The OtP will present an analysis of programs’ student achievement goals, principles, practices of promise, and facilitate a strategy session to help academic leaders identify institutional and college/school level strategies.

Student Success Summit

Thursday, June 1 • 10:00am to 4:00pm
EMU, Ballroom

Join UO student-facing staff and faculty for a half-day of learning, networking, and sharing of undergraduate student success best practices. The theme of the summit is “Achieving equitable student success,” and goals include promoting a culture of equitable student success; creating a shared understanding of institutional student success priorities and current equity gaps; and surfacing institutional barriers impeding equitable outcomes while celebrating successful practices. The discussion will focus on sharing ideas for solutions and connecting them to actions.
