Investing in Research, Scholarship, and Creative Work
The Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation (OVPRI) supports and advances high-impact research, scholarship, and creative activity through various internal funding programs. With an annual investment of more than $1 million, OVPRI facilitates new interdisciplinary engagement, preliminary data and feasibility studies, and provides time and support for the development of new artistic projects and scholarly works.

Research Development Support
Research Development Services (ROS) provides comprehensive proposal development support to faculty applying for external funding opportunities, including writing and editing services, project management, coordination of institutional support, and more.
Knight Campus
The Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact is an ambitious initiative where teams of UO bioengineers and bioscientists provide innovative approaches that establishes Oregon as a center for both research and development, making Oregon a place where companies can start-up, grow, and stay.
