In a unionized environment, it is important that unit heads understand the contracts and policies that guide employment for the majority of our faculty, staff and graduate students. Labor relations personnel from Employee and Labor Relations will lead conversations around areas of confusion, myths, and best practices related to the collective bargaining agreements between the university and United Academics (UA), the Graduate Teaching Fellows Federation (GTFF), and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).
This workshop has been designed for new unit heads, but returning unit heads, managers, faculty, and others are welcome to attend.
