The Office of the Provost offers workshops and trainings to assist faculty throughout the duration of their career at the University of Oregon. We collaborate with campus partners to offer workshops on topics such as understanding the promotion or tenure process, continued growth and development as an educator, how to produce a strong application for a Williams Instructional Proposal, and more.

Supporting new faculty success
New faculty will be invited to sign up for the New Faculty Success Program — a collaboration between the Office of the Provost and United Academics which meets monthly on a Thursday from 12:00-2:00 p.m. over lunch. All participating new faculty will be assigned to a small group with a faculty peer-coach who will provide support and accountability for the new faculty’s goals during the monthly meetings. In addition, the New Faculty Success Program will engage the NCFDD webinar series to compliment panel discussions about best practices for success.
