Ad Hoc Budget Planning Committee Formed

Colleagues:
We anticipate some difficult budget decisions over the next six months. To help us evaluate and determine response strategies, I will need broad input from the various management groups in the University. I am naming today an Ad Hoc Budget Planning Committee to serve to the end of the legislative session. This group must be small enough for us to have substantive discussion with little notice. On many issues we will need to bring in additional perspectives as well. By setting up this committee before the cuts are known, the entire community should be aware of the process for vetting them and formulating a response. The committee consists of:

Scott Coltrane, Dean CAS
Frances Dyke, VP Finance and Administration
Shelley Elliott, Chair, OA Council
Tim Gleason, Dean SOJC and Captain of the Budget Objective for Dean's Working Group
Robin Holmes, VP Student Affairs (and Auxiliary funds)
Peter Keyes, Chair, Senate Budget Committee
Michael Redding, VP Advancement, (State Relations)
